Escape the daily hustle and bustle and embrace the peace and quiet that the Eagles Nest (#2) has to offer. The Eagles Nest is a beautiful custom built cottage on the shore of Planting Ground Lake. With its two levels, it provides over 1500 square feet of living space to relax and enjoy. The two bedrooms on the main level each have new/comfortable queen sized log beds, while the enormous lower level provides two standard double beds, while each level has its own full bath. The kitchen overlooks the lake and screened-in porch, is fully equipped, and the appliances, which include a dishwasher, are all stainless steel. The living room has a large futon couch, two Lazy Boy recliners, a TV and DVD player for watching movies, a boom box, and a weather radio for severe weather alerts. The lower level also has a table and chairs, as well as shelves full of games, puzzles, and books for indoor entertainment. A large screen porch with patio set overlook the lake and is another great spot for dining, relaxing, and watching the sun rise and lake activities. Bring your boat and keep it docked in the resort's private and protected marina, or use one of the 14' rowboats that are included for your use during your stay. While you enjoy the endless and beautiful boating and fishing the area offers, don't forget to take advantage of the resort's beach, swimming area, playground, and bonfire pit!
